REGION RANKINGS
http://www.regiononetrack.blogspot.com/. The top 24 in each event at the end of the regular season qualify to compete in the Region Championships. They will probably not be updated until Monday night- I have to wait on all schools to send in their rankings.

ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Selected this week were Sharlie Dimick, Katelyn Davidson and Shane Russell. Sharlie had a big PR in the 1600m run Friday- she’s ready for more big improvements. Shane’s hurdle times are dropping fast- he’s ready to qualify for state in both hurdles. Katelyn performed over and above the call of duty. While sick as a dog (however sick that is) she typed almost all of the results for the junior high meet Thursday. She then got out of her sick bed to fill her commitment and PR’ed in the 800m run in the cold and wind Friday. This program cannot operate without people like Katelyn behind the scenes.
ALUMNI UPDATE
Sasha Russell ran 15.59 in the 100m hurdles and 1:09.77 in the 400m hurdles at the BYU Invitational. McKayla Williams improved her seasonal best in the 800m run to 2:18.74 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in California. Hannah Williams ran 4:34.12 in the 1500m run at the same meet. That is equal to about a 4:52 1600m run. Jake Rossmango ran 10:14 for the 300m steeplechase at the Michael Johnson Invitational at Baylor University.
